Voggenreiter's Rhythmic Village is a fun and educational 'place' for kids aged 6 and up at hang out. This percussion game is based on an app that can be downloaded and installed on Windows, Android and iOS smartphones, tablets and laptops. The app is available in various languages including English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian and can be registered to a maximum of three devices at any given time. Of course, there's more to it than the app alone: the Rhythmic Village pack includes a collection of percussion instruments such as a 20cm frame drum, two mallets, a jingle stick (tambourine sound) and a set of claves. Also, Rhythmic Village has won multiple international awards, including the title 'No. 1 Worldwide 'Educator's Choice' awarded by Microsoft Partners in Learning.

Rhythmic Village - The Game

Together with a little pirate named Oratio, you're going on a musical voyage to discover a place called the Rhythmic Village. This tuneful village is home to the Rhythmiacs, an exceptionally rhythmic bunch who are more than willing to help you and Oratio get to grips with rhythm. The villagers offer a fun, approachable way of teaching you how to play and read rhythms in musical notation, while the tablet or smartphone records what you're playing and lets you know if you've done well. From earning points to completing levels, the game is highly motivating for young children and can be played with or without a pair of headphones - just don't forget to adjust the microphone sensitivity accordingly via the in-app settings for optimum results.
